CVE-2026-104351
Overview
This vulnerability is a code injection flaw classified under CWE-94, originating from improper control over code generation within Adobe Campaign Classic. The root cause lies in insufficient validation and sanitization of user-supplied input that is interpreted as executable code. The affected component is the code generation functionality within Adobe Campaign Classic's processing engine, which handles dynamic script or code input from authenticated users with low privileges.
Vulnerability Description
Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC) is affected by an Improper Control of Generation of Code ('Code Injection') vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed.
Impact
An attacker with low-privileged access can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code within the context of the Adobe Campaign Classic application, potentially leading to full compromise of the affected system. No user interaction is required to trigger the exploit, allowing remote code execution. This can result in unauthorized data access, modification, or disruption of campaign operations, enabling lateral movement or persistence within the enterprise environment.
Solution
Adobe has released a security update for Adobe Campaign Classic addressing this vulnerability, detailed in advisory APSB26-162. Users should apply the latest patches as specified by Adobe to affected versions of Adobe Campaign Classic. The advisory provides comprehensive instructions for updating and mitigating the issue. Refer to https://www.adobe.com/trust/security/products/campaign/apsb26-162.html for detailed remediation guidance.
