CVE-2026-19490
Overview
This vulnerability is an authentication bypass rooted in improper verification of authentication tokens within NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway components. The flaw arises from insufficient validation mechanisms in the authentication workflow, allowing unauthorized access to protected resources. Affected versions include ADC and Gateway releases from 13.1 through 63.21 and 14.1 through 73.32, where the authentication logic fails to enforce strict credential checks.
Vulnerability Description
Vulnerability in NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway. This issue affects ADC: from 14.1 through 73.32 and from 13.1 through 63.21; Gateway: from 14.1 through 73.32 and from 13.1 through 63.21.
Impact
An attacker can gain unauthorized administrative access to NetScaler ADC and Gateway devices without any authentication or user interaction. This access enables full control over device configuration and management interfaces, potentially leading to data exfiltration, service disruption, and lateral movement within the network. The vulnerability allows attackers to compromise critical network infrastructure components, severely impacting organizational security posture.
Solution
Citrix has released patches addressing this authentication bypass in NetScaler ADC and Gateway versions 13.1 through 63.21 and 14.1 through 73.32. Administrators should apply the updates as detailed in advisory CTX696939 available at the Citrix support portal. The advisory provides version-specific patch instructions and recommends immediate deployment to affected systems to mitigate the vulnerability.
